Camp Oven Cooking Retreats

​Ranger Nick is often referred to as the Guru and Master of Keeping it Simple when it comes to camp oven cooking.

He was recently involved in successfully claiming the World Record title for the Longest Damper - 153 metres long!!

Appearing on  TV, radio and podcasts, Ranger Nick has been demonstrating the art of bush cooking professionally since 2010.

Ranger Nick will show you hands-on how to produce a cracker of a meal with whatever is in the tucker box.

There is nothing more simple or enjoyable than cooking up a storm in the camp oven.  Best of all, anyone can do it.  Even the cleaning up is easy.

You are guaranteed personalised attention and ensured to get all your questions answered.

 

You will leave the workshop with a pocket full of easy delicious recipes and the know-how of camp oven cooking.  This is more than a cooking class and certainly not an ordinary experience.

 

Participants may bring their own camp ovens and Ranger Nick will season them if required.

We don't have pre-set dates.  Instead the retreats are designed especially for your group when it suits.  Gather your friends, eight is the minimum, and check with Terry for dates which are available.  Too easy!

$600pp if sharing accommodation in the

            Clarence River Cottage (on-site)

$650pp if sharing a 4.5 star room in the

            Clarence River B&B (1 queen bed)

            with private ensuite, balcony and

$900pp if only one person in the 4.5 star

            room in the Clarence River B&B with

Package price covers 2 night's accommodation, 2 breakfasts, 2 dinners, one lunch, and a three-hour camp oven cooking session with Ranger Nick.

ALL MEALS AND TWO NIGHTS' ACCOMMODATION ARE INCLUDED IN THE PACKAGE PRICE

Please note that there is a minimum of 8 students, and maximum of 12 for each retreat.  Alcohol may not be consumed before or during the cooking sessions, but of course its fine to enjoy alcoholic drinks during the evening meals.
